Safeguard your Ammunition

Because we are not always aware of how and when God is going to bless us we must be mindful of how we approach our circumstances. We should greet every opportunity, circumstance, or trail with an optimistic attitude. My Pastor once said that the enemy is going to shoot at us anyway, so why give him any ammunition? Why make his attempt to gun us down successful? Why participate in our own attempted murder?

The word of God tells us in 1 Peter: 5:8 to be sober, be vigilant; because our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walk about, seeking whom he may devour. The enemy would like nothing more than to tempt us in a time of trail. We must resist him and stand steadfast in faith. Our faith should stand so firm on the Word and promises of God that when the enemy decides to take a shot at us he will discover that all he is shooting are blank bullets.

In most cases, when the enemy shoots at us we like to stand there and just take the bullet. We allow ourselves to worry about all that is going wrong in our lives. We allow ourselves to be shot down into a spirit of depression and defeat. When in fact we should fire back! Fire back with the Word of God, Matthew 6:25 reminds us we need not worry about our life and what we will eat or drink; nor should we worry about how we will be clothed. God will supply each and every need according to his riches and glory (Philippians 4:19). We have to let the enemy know we are equipped, empowered, and anointed!

Regardless of what we may be going through right now we are able to call upon the name of the Lord and we have to do just that. We have to call upon Jesus’ Name and stay positive and determined to reap the blessings he has for us. James 4:7 tells us when we submit ourselves to God and resist the enemy he will flee. That gives us clear clarification that there is no bullet Satan can shoot at us that has a successful landing. Why? Because when we declare to safeguard our ammunition, when we decide to stand steadfast in the Word of God with full assurance that there is no trail greater than the power of God, every bullet the enemy shoots will be blank.

I was mad at everybody, I mean everybody. Yeah, her, her, her, her EVERYBODY! Five years later I've gotten it together. Think I had it good, & they don't know how bad. I fooled everybody, except myself. Soaking in this hurt. Bathing in this dirt...#DirtyLaundry...
I praise God like I do because only I know what He's brought me thru.

What I Wore: Mother's Day Dinner

For dinner I decided to straighten my hair & throw on some pants vs the skirt.

Kept my same top, shoes, & accessories on.

This was truly a memorable Mother's Day for me.

My Princess made me breakfast in bed all by herself :) I woke up this morning to my night stand looking like this. Lol all these gifts looks like I have 3 kids instead of 1! She's such a bundle of joy & blessing. For sure made me smile. Reasons I love being her Mommie.

Honestly no paragraph dedication necessary. No designated holiday can amount to my gratefulness of all the sacrifices this beautiful Queen has made for her family. Which is why I choose to shower her with gifts & love on a consistent basis. I call her my sweetie pie because she has a mug of a pit but a heart of gold. No comparison! She prays for me when I can't pray for myself. She listens when no one else will. She's never judged me or belittled me because of the poor choices I've made. She is my mother, father, best friend, counselor, inspiration, father to my child, & so much more! The only thing this woman has ever done is love me like only a mother could. She's the reason I'm stubborn, bratty, independent, focused, determined, ambitious, & blessed. Those late night prayers she prayed...I'm reaping the blessings.

My favorite gifts from my Princess this morning. She made me cry! And I never cry! This little girl is so precious! Her card said "I will never trade u for riches, gold, or money. I love the gifts you buy me but there's something better you give. Your love. I will always be by your side" She has gots to love me lol if she won't trade me for riches because there's not a day that goes by that she don't remind us she's gonna be rich! Lol her other note said "she loves my swag" lol too cute. This has been a great Mommie Day for me! :)

Satan's job is to tempt us, steal from us, misguide us, and blind us from the gospel. However the Word of God tells us in 1 John 4:4 "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"

If we are of God then we already have the power to overcome all the things the enemy will try and throw in our path. We have the power to overcome it all and come out victorious as God has destined us to be.
